- About UHAC

The Universal Honorary Award Council (UHAC) is a registered non-profit trust established for the purpose of symbolic recognition, encouragement, and empowerment of individuals who have demonstrated contributions to society, leadership, culture, service, or professional life.
UHAC is not:
A university or educational institution
A degree-granting, accrediting, or certifying authority
A professional licensing body
A governmental or statutory organization

- Nature of Awards and Titles

The UHAC Honorary Doctorate Award of Excellence is a symbolic honorary award conferred by the Universal Honorary Award Council in recognition of excellence, leadership, or societal contribution. This award is not an academic doctorate, not a degree, and not equivalent to any doctoral qualification awarded by a university or educational institution. Any associated usage of the courtesy title “Hon Dr” is strictly honorary in nature, carries no academic, professional, or statutory standing, and must not be interpreted or represented as a formal doctoral qualification.
All other awards and titles conferred by UHAC — including but not limited to Universal Laureate, Aryabhushan, Global Excellence Fellow, Visionary Leader, Honorary Ambassador for Peace, and any future honorary designation — are also purely symbolic and honorary (“honoris causa”). They carry no academic, legal, medical, or professional value.

- Titles Conferred by UHAC

UHAC may confer titles including, but not limited to:
Hon Dr [Full Name]
Universal Laureate
Aryabhushan
Global Excellence Fellow
Visionary Leader
Honorary Ambassador for Peace
Any other honorary title issued by UHAC
All titles are courtesy titles only, intended solely for recognition and empowerment.
- Title Format & Usage Policy
All UHAC titles must be used only in honorary form and with clear indication of their symbolic nature.
Permitted formats include:
Hon Dr [Full Name] (Honorary)
[Full Name], Honorary [Title], UHAC
[Title] (Honorary), UHAC
The title “Hon Dr” must never be shortened to “Dr”, and must never be presented as an academic or professional doctorate.
- Permitted Uses
UHAC titles and awards may be used only in:
Social, ceremonial, or courtesy contexts
Public events, introductions, or felicitation materials
Business cards or profiles with honorary clarification
- Prohibited Uses
UHAC titles and awards must not be used in:
Academic records, CVs, or resumes
Research papers, journals, or scholarly publications
Medical, legal, engineering, teaching, or professional practice
Employment eligibility, admissions, or licensure claims
Any representation implying formal qualification, accreditation, or authority
- Misuse, Revocation & Legal Action
Any misuse, exaggeration, or misrepresentation of UHAC titles or awards may result in:
Immediate revocation of the title or award
Public disassociation by UHAC
Legal action where applicable
UHAC shall not be responsible for consequences arising from misuse by awardees or third parties.
- Awards & Fees Policy
UHAC does not charge any fee for:
Nomination
Eligibility
Selection
Conferral of awards
All awards are merit-based, evaluated according to UHAC’s internal criteria by an independent selection panel.
- Optional Lifetime Membership
UHAC offers an optional Lifetime Membership program that may include networking, promotional, or community participation benefits.
Membership is voluntary
Membership fees are not required for awards
Declining membership does not affect award eligibility or status
Any unauthorized request for payment in UHAC’s name is fraudulent and should be reported to info@uhacouncil.org
- Fraud & Unauthorized Representation
UHAC is not liable for:
Unauthorized use of its name or titles
False claims made by individuals or third parties
Fraudulent payment demands
Such activities may be reported to appropriate authorities.

UHAC makes no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or availability and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or UHAC recognitions.
- Modification of Terms
UHAC reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or acceptance of awards constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

- Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

Acceptance of any UHAC title or award constitutes acknowledgment that it is honorary, symbolic, and non-academic.
